How Much Is This Worth?

I have an XLR with 44,000 miles. I'm considering trading it for another XLR with only 34,000 miles. Both cars are the same year. Assuming the same or very similar condition how much would you be willing to pay for the lower mileage vehicle, my car and how much cash?

Not to be cute, but, why bother? Unless you like the other car's color better.

You're not sounding cute. That is what I'm struggling with - is it worth it at all? Color is the same but there are some minor cosmetic differences.

Just ask yourself whats 10,000 miles worth ?

I'm not sure myself - what do you think 10,000 miles is worth?
10,000 miles difference is the LEAST significant factor. How have both cars been driven and maintained? What's the service history? Carfax? How soon do each need tires? What does a certified XLR tech say after a detailed inspection of each? Are both cars in the same mileage bracket for an extended service contract? Those are just the factors that come to mind right away.

If you think the cars are both in identical condition, you can get a number by going to the price lookups at Edmunds, NADA, KBB, etc and doing lookups for the different mileages to see the claimed price differences.

Thanks for the response. I have 15,000 miles on my Michelin Run Flats. At this mileage they become hard and run quite rough (I've had these tires before). The other car has 3,000 miles on Pirelli's (non run flat). Warranty would be the same as I have now. Carfax is excellent on both - it says +$1300 for mine, +$1190 for the other car. Cosmetically the other car is a little better overall.
