If you have a XLR-V, who built your engine?

Hey

How does the bolt on the end of the crankshaft have anything to do with oiling the engine? Maybe I am dating myself and am not aware of the "new" engine design or technology. Doesn't the bolt at the end just hold the Harmonic balancer on .... oriented with a key way??

Can someone enlighten me?

Oil pump is sandwiched between the block and harmonic balancer on the shaft. If it loosens, the pump doesn’t turn.
