I'm thinking about buying some used TPMS. I've seen them, they look brand new and supposedly were working before they were removed. Before I spring for them, is there a way to test that they're good?
Thanks in advance.
I suppose you could put them in a pressurized bottle - like a garden sprayer or something... then have the car learn the new TPM sensors and see if they register.
I might just do that - I bought a used set of four on ebay... I heard that the batteries in them only last about 5 years or so and they don't seem to be replaceable.
