Power Steering Units repair/replace

I have a 2008 XLR-V and the power steering unit has failed. Where can I get a replacement unit? Can they be rebuilt? My Canadian dealership is really of little help. Nothing available in Canada. Thanks for any help you can offer.

I have new oem pumps . you will most likely also need the pulley rebuilt which I do. You can reach me at xlrparts@yahoo.com as I don't think you get private messages here until you have been on a while

I got one for my 06 that was rebuilt from Rockauto. Might give them a try

Just another GM brain storm how hard could it be to engineer universal parts? A person could go mad fishing thru all those part numbers seems so dam easy just to produce the same part for all it's cars.
