I learned last night we lost one of the original members of this site and one of the original ‘Blue Bunnies’; who were instrumental in the Rendezvous in Bowling Green and eventually our venues.

Henry the ‘Professor’ and his lovely wife Pat enjoyed traveling and meeting new people in their 2004 Raven Black XLR; which he used in his business as a daily driver. He was most likely one of the first owners to drive over 200,000 miles in his XLR. He wasn’t much for posting on the site, but was always ready with a smile and a story whenever the group would met up. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Pat. RIP Professor!

Lola’s mom here ...
The Professor, Jim and Jean, and Jet Boy .... rendezvous in Albuquerque, New Mexico was the original.... 3 owners who met up, all on the original forum ... which all of the rest of us got kicked off of ... lol they started all of the now infamous Rendezvous that we did in Kentucky, Texas and Colorado.... as many as almost 100 XLR owners came together to meet, Party, and travel for a few days each Spring. Those were the best days! Many of us made lifetime friends and remain friends today from California, Canada, to Florida (including the infamous Midwest Marauders) .... we were the darlings of Cadillac.... it was a moment in automotive history never to be repeated. Many of us no longer own our XLRs, but that has not changed our friendships ... they are forever. All made possible because we were original owners and members of the XLR cars and forums .... OOH-RAH!

Great post RA!

WOW.... You are one informed person Cubby!! The Professor was a great guy! Sorry to hear this news. You could almost call him one of our "Founding Fathers".

Sorry to hear that, he was a nice guy and very interesting to talk to.
