quick top question

When I run a scan with a tech2 while the top is closed,no trouble codes are shown. When I cycle the top open and run a scan,I get a trouble code 1310(header latch closed switch). Should I replace the switch and what is the part number for this. Thanks

The first thing you should do is to verify that the header latch is indeed closed and that the switch is indeed defective. Try to pull the caps off of the top by the header (when the top is closed) and be sure the latch is indeed latched (insert torx wrench and give it about 1/4 turn or so).

Then, and only then, replace the switch!
