Started to smell coolant, then low coolant alert, appears as there is a small crack in the plastic tank on the side of the radiator. Anyone experienced this, difficult to change out?

If you mean the coolant recovery tank, not hard to change out at all. Flat rate says .8 hour. Let me know if you would like me to price one out for you.

Radiator side tank leaks are quite common. Replacing the radiator assembly isn't easy. I suggest recovering the A/C system, it makes it a little easier getting the fan assembly out. This would be a good time to replace the belts & water pump, depending on the miles on your XLR.

Re:radiator leaks

Thanks for getting back to me, since posting have read of these problems. Have already had the pump replaced last year, and have a really great mechanic that can r&r. Again thanks so much for info
