Have read on the forum here about that coolant "T" fiiting requiring replacment since it is plastic and becomes brittle and can fail . Have an '06 V here . Is the V configuration different ? On the engine of the V there seems to be two T 's in that configuration not one and not plastic but more or a compression type fitting which then is routed and ultimately goes to the radiator fill tank on the driver's inner fender. Not seeing a plastic "T'" fiiting as described The whole hose configuration to me appears pretty solid and sturdy. Is the V set up in fact different, not having that plastic "T" arrangement ?
