Help! Remote fob will not open door.

Remote fob #1 will open the door and trunk and start the car. Fob #2 will not do anything even with a new battery. Tried re programing with the pocket in the glove box but only says it recognizes the fob as already programed. Any suggestions. Thanks Doug-J

Few years ago I had a similar problem. Replaced the battery in the fob with Duracell medical grade. This worked but was still a little intermittent . I then cleaned up fob battery contacts with alcohol pad and a pencil eraser . Things have been great ever since. One of the members was having the same issue and dealer told him he needed new Fob. He tried the procedure described and it worked so well he passed on new fob. Hope this helps.
