The 15 torx is there to remove the screws that secure the storage compartment that is between the seats. This must be removed to gain access to the header latch when the top is in the stowed position. The allen wrench is then used to rotate the latch so the top can then be lifted up and out. Once you get the top in the closed position you use the wrench to lock down the header latch.
