I was wanting to replace the stereo, what brand & model is the best suited for an easy installation.

Welcome to the gang. Suggest you do a search on this subject as its been discussed quite a lot. I don't think there is an "easy installation". Good luck.

There is an extensive thread with the pioneer Appradio 4 that I was involved with but as of yet have not completely resolved the Bose amp issue and what I mean is when I did the install I couldn't get the amp to trigger ON so for now I have put that project on hold till futher info available but on you tube there is another method of install but requires you to remote install factory head unit in the truck storage area, you might check that install out if your interested [emoji4] welcome to the forum !
