Hi all,
I'm feeling something sharp right under my left thigh.
I tried to move it around----feels like maybe part of the heated seat components? I'm afraid it's going to break through the perforated later.
Is there an easy to remove the seat cover to inspect?
I don't seem to see any hot ties or other clips.
Do I have to remove the power seat controls?

Thanks,
Mark

I've replaced the lower seat cushion covers on both seats, and it isn't hard, just time-consuming. You have to remove the seat from the car to do it, but there aren't any special tools required.

The seat is pretty heavy and awkward to get out once the four nuts are removed to lift the seat off of the studs in the floor pan. You need to protect the door sill with a heavy pad to avoid scratching it up. I'm pretty sure I posted a procedure here somewhere when I had to replace the torn vent duct. Try searching and I'll repost a procedure if needed.

Once the seat cover is off, you can inspect the cushion; it may have torn.
