Help! The top is the Bottoms

Has anyone found a way of approaching the problem with inconsistent operations of the top. I replaced the trunk gas struts which helped, but sometimes the convertible will close and then sometimes it won’t. I understand the concept is similar to the Mercedes’ and Porsche hard top convertible. Does anyone have experience going there for repairs?

Often all it takes is a top relearn using the Tech II. The top mechanism "spazzes" out every so often.
