Help! Trying to replace thermostat on 2007 XLR

I need to replace the thermostat on my 07 XLR. I have the OEM thermostat and gasket, but I can’t figure out how to remove the mass air flow assembly which is in the way. Can anybody help? Thanks, Ted

Can’t anybody help me? There has to be a mechanic out there somewhere.....

the mass air flow is just held on with the hose clamp on either side of the rubber intake hose. Take one hose off the throttle body and one off the intake breather assembly and unplug the wire.

Sounds easy enough. The intake seems really tight but I’ll give it my best shot. Thanks so so much for your reply.
