Does anyone else have the issue of "air" sounds when turning the steering wheel? Sometimes when it's very quiet out I can hear what sounds like "air" when making turns with the steering wheel.

Yep... same thing. Not sure what is causing it... must be just friction from the steering column??:dunno:

I am taking note of these issues for GM Records. Please keep us posted if you're unable to diagnose and repair the vehicle. PM us if necessary with the VIN#, your contact information, and situation details. I hope all is well despite the car issue.

Wheezing Sound

I would characterize the sound as a "wheezing" as I turn the wheel. If the radio is on, you don't hear it. It isn't there all the time. The dealership tried to fix it. Their response "Found squeak from where steering wheel contacts covers. Lubed wheel." I can't find the bill but I remember they replaced the airbag and steering wheel after the lube job to try to get rid of it. They told me that with the covers off and the airbag out, there was no squeak.
