Does anyone know if you can order the leather for the XLR interior from GM?
I have the two toned interior black and cashmere, The black on the dash and window molding, is that leather or vinyl.

A GOOD upholstery shop should be able to get VERY CLOSE to matching your leather. Having some interior work done on my car right now. I'm guessing that IF you can find GM upholstery, it's gonna be very pricey.

For your model year, the only leather on the doors is the armrest and center padding in the middle of the door. The upper part of the door is leatherette (vinyl) as well as the dash pad. Later years received leather dash pads. You would need to order the dash pad or entire inner door panels to re-do the interior (excluding the seat cushions, some of which are discontinued.) You can look up the part numbers to verify if they're in stock through the usual online GM parts distributors.

I found a local upholstery shop who assured me that if I bought the entire hide, they could order the Lt Shale leather. A whole hide is $250 not counting labor. The outside upper driver seat has a wear hole in it more than likely from the seat belt. Still debating whether to do it or not.

I found a driver's side shale seat back pad (PN 88994916) for $316.69 here: Genuine*SEAT BACK PAD, LEFT (88994916)*for your*GM Vehicle

Normally the pad is the foam beneath the cover, but the drawing shows this as the outer cover. No availability for ebony though. Hope this is current and helps.
