Where is the serial # on 2008 XLR-V engine?

Can someone help me find the serial # on my engine? 2008/4 XLR-V

There is a VIN Derivative located on the right rear side of the engine block. It is a nine digit number stamped or Laser etched onto the engine. The first digit identifies the vehicle division, second digit is model year. The third identifies the assembly plant and the forth through ninth are the last six of the VIN.

There is also an Engine Unit Number. That label is on the right camshaft cover at the front of the engine. There is also a supercharger identification number located on the left side of the supercharger unit, attached to the bearing plate between the front housing and supercharger base. It contains the following information: Barcode, Part Number and Serial Number.
