Help! window regulator noise

Hi.
Been a while since logging on . I wonder if anyone can help. When car sits in the sun the door windows make a shrill squeak on the way down up is no NOISE. Also when window comes up its higher than in the past. Other than that window works fine. Thanks CJ

With the roof up, re-index the windows. (Continue to hold the button for 5 seconds after the window reaches the bottom, then the same after it reaches the top. Repeat for other side.) That should reset the stop positions.

The squeak might be the track the glass runs in, could you try some lubricant in the front track (the bit the glass runs in)? Some silicone spray might do it, but don't use too much and don't let silicone anywhere near the air intake to your N*. You will need a throw away cloth to wipe off excess and maybe wear gloves to keep the lubricant off your hands. Only try this if you are confident of the process.
