21st annual Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac/Oakland, Cadillac/LaSalle Car Show.

Location: Highland Park (behind Elwood Haynes Museum) Kokomo,IN

Time: 9am-3pm June 12 2010.

Pre War to present. Hosted by Hoosier Pontiac-Oakland Club. Pre-registration by June 7th, $12 first car, $8 each additional car. ALL cars $15 day of show. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place awards plus special awards. Dash plaques,door prizes & plenty of shade.

Here is a BUMP for you. Kevin thought this was next weekend. Now I don't know if we can go. I might be babysitting on Saturday and we have a graduation party on Sunday. I told Cubby he can go with out me.

Kokomo Car Show

I spent the day with Bruce, Kathy and Jeanie in Kokomo at the Pontiac, Lasalle and Oakland Car show; Supa was home watching her niece and nephews all weekend. Below are some of the pics I took; of course Bruce and Kathy have tons more. It started out cloudy and humid and got sunny and more humid as the day went on--then thunderstorms for my 2 hour drive home. Scarlett-V now needs another bath.

Don't you hate when someone walks in front of you when you're taking a picture!

This car is back in the original family that purchased it new and had to be totally restored after a fire.

The owner of this car is a friend of Bruce & Kathy's; a 1955 Cadillac-it was flawless and won the overall Best of Show

I neglected to get picks of Scarlett-V, but I'm sure Bruce & Kathy did!

It makes me wonder how will our cars be received and looked at in 50 years?

There were a lot of nice cars at the show. But the heat & humidity were awful. It was great to see Cubby & we're glad he won. As usual, no one knew what the XLR was.

This would be a nice show to add to our schedule each year. Next year the show will be hosted by the Cadillac/LaSalle club. (each year a different club hosts the event) It would be nice to have a good showing of Cadillacs/XLRs.

I completely agree, Bruce. If they were not familiar with XLR's to begin with, it would be an awesome site to have 6-10 of them show up. Keep us posted on the dates next year - I'm in!
