While researching 2008's I found http://www.caddyinfo.com/xlryearbyyear.html which under new features for 2008 listed "Blue Tooth capability (through GM SPO). Interim 2008. "

So, does anyone with a late 2008 have bluetooth? It appears you can find out by following the first two pairing steps:

1. Press and hold [the hey car, listen up] button on the steering wheel for two seconds. The system
responds with “Ready” followed by a tone.
2. Say “Bluetooth”. The system responds with
“Bluetooth ready” followed by a tone.

If anyone with a late 2008 discovers they have Bluetooth, could they please post their build date?

Unfortunately, there is not an accessory kit to add Bluetooth to the 2008 XLR however Bluetooth is available on the 2009 models.
