My passenger side airbag decal on the visor/vanity mirror is peeling up. It is clearly not made to ever be removed and would be a disaster to try and peel it away. It has peeled up about a quarter of an inch.

What would the most effective glue be on the cloth visor?

I would use 3M spray trim adhesive. First I would pencil around where the decal lays down on the visor so you don't get the adhesive outside where the decal lays and maybe even use some masking tape. I would spray some adhesive out (NOT on the visor or decal), then using a small, artist type paint brush, brush a thin layer on both the decal and the visor. Let this dry until tacky, then recoat with a thin layer and lay the decal down and hold in place for 30 seconds or so. 3M spray trim adhesive is designed for just this application.

You could also use the 3M Trim Adhesive in a tube if you don't want to use an aerosol. I would use the same application instructions, and definitely mask off the area you want keep from having adhesive applied to.

Those covers are awesome! I hope to pick up some of that spray adhesive tomorrow and give it a try.

Peeled mine off

Mine started to get loose on one corner and I just peeled it off the fabric..took a little time and fingernail work to clean up. Afterwards I cleaned the visor with spray carpet cleaner. Looks like new and no decal. Thought about doing the other one but it is adhearing ok so left alone.

I was too afraid to just peel it up. For one I could see lots of stuff it was leaving behind and it wouldn't be uniform. I bought some spray loctite adhesive (cheaper than 3m), masking taped it up and painted it on. The results look pretty good. Thanks for the advise on probably the cheapest repair for this Cadillac.

Your welcome; hope the loctite stuff works...
