finally back after a bit of an absence. Things got super busy at the office which kept me away in May. Then I was away on vacation in Europe for June. While in Europe we experienced massive flooding in Calgary so I needed to get home. Thankfully, my place was saved but I've been busy with recovery work since getting home.

My XLR looked pretty sad, so I wanted to take it out for a spin. unfortunately the optima red top battery I had installed in January was completely dead - to the point where I couldn't even charge it! Hopefully I'll get some time this week to pickup a new battery.

it was so great to see Rod is doing well and able to get out for a ride in his XLR - that made my day!

Cheers,

I would check with the place you purchased the battery. Optima battery's have a 10,000 start guarantee. If you just purchased it jan. they should replace it for free. The big question is what is draining your battery. With a deep cycle you should get more than 6 months out of it. I would purchase a battery tender if not a everyday car. Even if you do drive her a lot the winters are surely long there in canada.
