2005 Crimson Pearl XLR
I have read several posts about folks having trouble with their door pad switches. The general opinion is that they are inexpensive and easy to replace.

I've not had any trouble with mine, but I decided to pick up a pair to keep for future use. I don't know if the same switch is used on all year models, but the part number for the ones used on 2005 models is 22751230.

Their list price is $15.33 each. I get them at a discount since I've been friends with the parts man for many years.

I may never need them, but if I do, I have them. I'm not planning on selling Crimson Pearl at any point in the future.

Good idea, I had an extra in the shop but it probably went up in smoke. Something just occurred to me... I wonder if the door switches are the same for Corvettes as on the XLR's??

As did I...

I picked up a pair on ebay as well. It can't hurt to have them.

The Ebay prices were so reasonable I bought 3 and just threw them on a shelf for that "Just in case" day....

Yep... me, too. Snared a couple from GM Wholesale Direct for < $23 to my mailbox.
