Happy new XLR -07 owner from Finland! -Sorry my not-so-good-english... I just got my silver car from Germany. In Finland, 6 million people and only 6 xlr:s!!! -becouse no Cadillac import here at those years...
Thanks already to "Little Red" for help with vents!
Sorry. asking technical at same page: Roof problem ofcourse. "too cold to roof operating....." It is cold here, but only +10 celsius. Sensor problem? Summer is coming soon, I hope! My Tech 2 is coming soon, too. Where can I find that "temperature sensor" or do something else?
And good place to buy shop manual? (is service manual same thing or smaller one with no codes)
Thank You All!

Welcome to the forum!

The temp sensor is at the lowest point of the motor. The sensor itself can not be replaced. If it needs to be replaced, you will have to replace the complete pump assembly. While you are waiting for your Tech II, get a set of the factory service manuals if you don't already have them. You can buy them from Helms or ebay. You could also pull the carpet up in the left well where your pump is and look for signs of water. You could also take the interior panel on that side off and remove the 2 bolts holding the bracket, lift the pump titling it side way to remove the plastic cover. If water runs out, most likely your sensor is bad.

Congratulations on your new acquisition and welcome to the forum!

You must get a lot of questions about your XLR!

Your English is OK, much better than our Finnish would be!

Welcome Aboard

Fun cars, can prove to be a bit difficult at times as they are pretty complicated machines. They are rare enough here in The States, I can only imagine the reactions of people in Finland.
