PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!! I have read the instructions over and over. I have finally gotten to the point of inserting the wrench in the headliner and turning, roof still will not release. Why not, what haven't I done? I've also checked fuses I found none blown yet I hear nothing when I press the button. My local dealer is booked 3 weeks out and will not help over the phone, they just want to be payed. Whatever happened to common courtesy when you could get help with a simple question? Someone I'm sure has had this problem help me please. I have the 2004 model. Thanks in advance

When you say you have read the instructions over and over; are you talking about manually operating the top, either up or down? Did you release the pump pressure with the relief valve? You really don't provide much information as to what you are trying to do.

MY apologies, I read the owners manual. I'm more of a visual person reading instructions I find difficult. I look at the box to see how it goes together. Anyway I did turn the valve on the pump , do I leave it open until top is closed? I understood the instructions to say that I close it after I secure the part on the trunk.

Yes leave the valve open until you have the top up and secured at the windshield per the instructions. Once it is secure you will close the valve.
