I use mine all the time. Anytime I drive over 30 the cruise is on. It works perfect and makes sure if you are not paying attention and someone slams on their brakes in front of you you will stop. I love it.
I got the top fixed yesterday by the old Cadillac dealer in town. They lost the franchise but are still a used car dealer. I got 3 estimates. $450 at the Chevy dealer. $250 at a local body shop mand $50 at the old caddy dealer.mi chose the $50. They did a great job.. I'll be giving them more...
Well, I drove the x with the top up for the first time today since the pop. A lot of wind noise in the header. Appears the fiberglass, or plastic top of the roof is glued to the frame. It looks like the pop was the top panel separating from the frame. The sides are still attached but the center...
It's not a cheep fix but it's a fix. I believe for about $800. You can get an updated receiver and 2 new fobs installed. A lot of money but it fixes the problem. I guess it's inline with a car that new shocks are $1200 each.
Got home tonight ready to dig in. Got a tool to release the top manually. Released the front hit the button and all worked well. Then I thought I would try it. Put it back up and it worked fine. Put it up and down several times. Worked fine every time. I don't know what the pop was or why it...
This morning while putting the top up, as the front header pulled tight I heard a pop above my head and now the front header won't release. Any idea what might have snapped and how I can release the top manually on the front to find out?
Mine rode horrible for a while. Found out one of my shocks had locked up. Replaced it and it is much better. Easy to check. Push on all 4 corners. If one is locked up, you'll know it.
The Xlr developed an oil leak last year. Ignored it for a while but it got worse so I took it to the dealer. They put die in the oil. Told me to drive it for a week and bring it back. Brought it back. They spent almost an hour on it. Told me cam covers, and timing chain cover. Updated cover so...
I understand the misunderstanding now. What I need are on the front of the engine. Where the cams slide into the front of the engine there is 4 metal covers that cover the holes where the cams slide into the engine.
I typed in that number and it comes up with an engine front cover gasket for $18.55. I think that would be the timing cover gasket. I need the 4 cam covers on the 2 heads.
