Anyone want a SPECIAL GM Tool= 8 mm Hex wrench w T15 Torx

PER the tool we need for our emergency manual top operation (although a 8mm hex and a standard T15 will do)

I found a company online who has the wrenches, they have a $11.68 MSRP but are selling for $8.49 but the kicker is the $9.99 shipping. I am going to get one, if anyone that is going to the Bowling Green Homecoming wants one I can get quite a few for the same shipping cost, if I buy 7 they net in at $10.00 each. Please advise right away if you want me to order you one too. You can pay me in BG.

My '06 V was missing this tool at purchase. I would like one if it happens to be OEM. We'll not be making the Bowling Green trip, but would happily cover any shipping/mailing costs incurred if there is enough interest to generate order.

I found the site online then realized that it is the same site mentioned by Cubby on the other thread, www.newgmparts.com Part #10342359. If I order one for you then ship it to you it would likely cost just as much if not more then if you just ordered it yourself so that is what I suggest you do. I think I will order one or two extra anyway and take with me to BG as someone will likely want one. I like the idea of one tool instead of two, less likely to rattle around. I also plan to put some heat shrink tubing over it to also reduce rattling.

Bad news Steve, I just got a message back from www.newgmparts.com saying they no longer have stock and I will be refunded. I will go to my local dealer and see if they happen to have any stock left and they can check the dealer network. If I can find one and they have more than one, should I get it for you?
Also: dougk the GM part number is Part #10342359, good luck, it appears they are gone but you may get lucky via a dealer. Meanwhile an 8mm hex wrench and a Torx T15 does the job.

Good luck. We have discovered no one seems to have them. The one company who said they had them in stock, accepted the order, I paid via Paypal........then they discovered they did not have them after all. If I ever find any I will buy them up and let everyone know I have scored some. Meanwhile, carry an 8mm hex wrench and a Torx T15.

SORRY: Can NOT find that wrench any anywhere. Like I stated in the previous email above your inquiry; it appeared that a company had them, they invoiced me and I paid.......then my order was cancelled on me a few days later. If I ever do find them anywhere I will buy them and let you know.
