Just had my dealer install the 3rd replacement battery in my 06 XLR. The previous one lasted 28 months (a record). I have been using a c-tek battery manager when ever the car is not in normal use.
Can anyone recommend a battery that will last?
The Cadillac dealer keeps installing ACDelco .

Yellow-Top Experience

Phrede, just checking in to see how the Yellow Top Optima D35 is working out for ya. I'm thinking of taking the leap to one, but wanted to learn first-hand how it's going for you. Was it a good choice over the Red-Top?

The battery is working fine. No problems at all

Thanks for the update Fred I'm going to jump onto that yellow top and get that good deal from my local auto parts store and I sure do appreciate your input.

UPDATE: Installed the D35 Yellow Top. Perfect fit, and the posts are on the correct side for my model; i.e., positive on the driver's side, toward the middle.

Working great.

as a 2007 owner i need a battery tray, no biggie

also need to buy a good tender... i'll shop for that tomorrow
