Caffeine and Exotic Car Show in Atlanta
Ladies and Gentlemen of XLR Fame, I need your support in displaying your Dream Machine at the Buckhead's Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta. The car show is held the 3rd Sunday of the month in Apr, Jun, Aug, & Oct, weather permitting, between 8-11am for the 2016 season. The car show must end by that particular time in order for the parking lot to be available for business by noon. I was the only XLR present for the last two encounters and surrounded by such cars as Lamborghinis, MBZs, Ferraris, Jaguars, BMWs, Rolls Royces, Porches, CTS Vs, Vipers, Bentleys, McLarens, Aston Martins, Lotus, Maseratis, Audis, GTRs, Corvettes, and more. Help needed. Recent change for the 2016 season, $5.00 fee for the visitors only.. You MUST register your car for entry, see the first clip below. Great event and this is what's so interesting. There's a Thunder Road Run to the car show. What is a Thunder Road Run for those who may not know. Approximately 25-35 of the Exotic cars meet 15 miles North of Lenox Square Mall and we take Highway 400 (exit 7B) South to the car show for a nice leisurely drive all departing at the same time. No traffic issues during this time of the morning and I believe we went a little over the speed limit by a wide margin. Still can't remove the grin off my face when being escorted by such vehicles. Yes, my V keeps up with the pack. I'm like a kid in a candy store during the Sunday morning Thunder Road Runs. See the clips below and post whether you have an interest in attending. I assure you I'm ready for some spring weather!! Hoping to finally get my new exhaust tips from the fab shop this week and will then have the car about like I want it. Thanks for the reminder about the show.
