I purchased this engine prior to purchasing my XLR. The thought at the time was that the base engine wouldn't provide enough power to provide adequate performance. After driving my XLR the performance is quite adequate, and the V-Sport engine would just cause excessive rear tire replacement. The engine was purchased from a Nickolas Auto Parts n Florida. It included the electrical wiring (complete with the ECM connector), but was missing the Intake Plenum, Engine cover, Alternator, Power Steering Pump, and A/C Compressor. All these parts have since been located and purchased separately. The engine was sown as having 95,000 miles on it. The Serial Number is 660171135 which means it was built in 2006. $4,300 including shipping to the lower 48.
