Dead Pedal

The plastic “dead pedal” on my XLR has cracked. Anyone have any experience with a better than OEM replacement? Preferably not plastic.

I've seen billet aluminum covers that look nice. Check ebay you'll see a variety. May have to look under c6 corvette?

Where is this "dead pedal" located?

Left side of the foot well. There's a place to rest your foot.
