Is the spring supposed to go on the cable end at the gas door? I got that end out ,and it has no spring on it, and if that's where it goes, it would need a "split ring retainer to keep it on, because the end retainer on the cable is only about 1/16" diameter. Can someone please tell me what to do in a clear concise manner, or better still, send me their phone number so we can talk about it? HELP!!!!!
