Hi
I just got a 2005 XLR (registered first time in 2007), not many of them here in Norway. Was happy to find this forum with people who have experience with this kind of car :)

Congratulations on your newly acquired XLR. I also have a 2005 - you will just absolutely love it! Please post some pictures when you get a chance - I bet you will have some beautiful backgrounds with your Caddy. I get looks all the time with mine - and I'm in the US... I can only imagine how people will react seeing your car in Norway. Very cool! :rocker:

Welcome to the greatest XLR forum on the planet!

Congrats and welcome to the forum.

Welcome!! You will find this forum to be a wealth of knowledge!!

Velkommen!

Glad to have you here!

Friendly folks and good technical advice.

LOVE to see some great pictures.

Glad you found us... congrats on your purchase. Did you find & buy it in the states and have it shipped over, or what??

Here are a coupe of pictures of the car. It came to Norway in 2007 and has basicly been standing on display at a dealership since then. It only has 16.000 km (10.000 miles).

Great car, great view! Can we all come to visit?

Great scenery! That first picture is just beautiful!

Do you plan to drive it year-round or only when there is no snow or ice?

Welcome! Bring your cars :)

Wouldn't that be a blast: Unloading a half dozen or so XLR's from a freight container and casually cruising over to Gunner's place! :worship:

Welcome to the fourm, hopefully we will meet someday but for now we hope to see you online and hear more about the story behind you buying an XLR! :)

I have been reading on the forum lately about some problems people have had with the XLRs. It makes me a little nervous being so far away from any Cadillac mechanic....

There were two issues with the car when I got it that I hope to get fixed: The display is showing "svc tire monitor", seems like left front is not working. Is it just to order a new sensor? I have seen some on ebay....
Also one of the transmitters to open the car is not working. I guess after checking the battery I will try reprogramme it?

Well, this should probably been posted another place in the forum...
Still hope XLR to be a dependeble car....;)
