Intermittant light for stability control

I have a intermittant stability light that comes on and off on my display and says stability traction control is off and needs to be serviced. Usually if I restart the car it goes away.
Is there a fix for this. It's confusing when it shows and then goes away. 2008 XLR. Any advice for this issue?

This with your other ride issue says i would be looking at the ride height sensors. Making sure they are working and have no bent arm links

ride height sensors can be disabled with a resistor kit, when you switch to non magnetic shocks.
with a tech 2 it is relatively easy to diagnose which shock or which ride height sensor is malfunctioning. if you do 4 standard shocks like mickeytee was suggesting, the resistor kit will have 8 resistors. one for each shock pigtail, and one for each ride height sensor pigtail.
i fought with my shocks and sensors for 2 months until i finally got it to stop throwing service ride control and other warnings.
