They flushed everything and new gaskets and added coolant for that price.

Ouch !! I had the same problem a couple years ago and I went to a reputable garage and they charged me $1000 , dealership $1800. I recently had a small tranny leak in the rear and I could hear a howling sound so I took it in to the dealership and they said it was a shift shaft seal leak , tranny gasket leak , both front wheel bearings shot and outer tie rods shot . Over $5000 would've been the bill . I went back to the other guy and he confirmed the shaft seal leak but said the tranny gasket was fine , only 1 wheel bearing was shot and changed the tie rods . With taxes it was $1800 !! I think the dealership might have the proper tools to diagnose the problems but I don't trust them anymore . I figure that you're going in there with a cool caddy and they think you have cash to burn and try to rip you off !!!

I had the same thing done at 48k. The radiator core began to delaminate from the shell so they replace it under warranty.

Well my warranty expired back in late 2017 since then front shock was blown. So I decided to replace all 4 at the same time. That cost 4 k. And now this radiator issue. So hopefully no more major expenses otherwise I’m going to have to trade her in

Well my dealership knows me really well. Both my mom and I have bought several vehicles from them and the give me a discount on some labor costs

The radiator sprung a leak at the top left side a month after buying the XLR. I bought a GM branded radiator, 2 gallons of DexCool, and had my local shop guy do the labor. $150 for the radiator, 40$ for the coolant and 100 for the labor. My extended warranty paid the difference after my 100$ deductible.
