i just receive my lockpick device to install in my 2005 xlr and i think i find bad news all info said to
pres x1 or x2 but i not have this on my radio and i have not option u2k i think i m a dead duck
i have only fm1 fm2 am + weather band only
ist a canadian car possible differente radio from US market.

any advise

I believe the XM Radio was an option in 2005 (it is listed as a charged option on my 2005 Window Sticker). Your car may not have had XM installed (I'm not sure if it can be "unlocked" - I'm sure it is still built into the same head unit).
I hope you can figure it out.
