opening the trunk lid without hydraulic assist

Hey

Just saw a video at You "Tube, 'the guy opened the trunk without activating the hydraulics. Did not know this is possible. Is it, or was his hydraulics busted maybe?

it is very heavy without some sort of assist. I assume you know how to open it with the key in the bumper and then two handed pull trunk towards you while lifting . If you find a you tube link please share

As he said. I had to do this several times to open the door (then hood) after the battery was drained flat.

Use two hands and lift evenly to avoid twisting the trunk lid.
