Was the dark of the moon on the sixth of June

in a Kenworth pulling logs

Cab-over Peter with a reefer on

and a Jimmy hauling hogs

We is headin' for bear on I one-oh

'Bout a mile out of shaky-town

I says "Pig-Pen, this here's the Rubber Duck

and I'm about to put the hammer down!"

Convoy--Kris Kristofferson the movie. I'm sure he did'nt write the song though.

Guess I'll have to search that part of it.

Heck - I was voting for Kurt Russell in Big Trouble in Little China:

"This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there."

"Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol' storm right square in the eye and he says, "Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it.""

Don't remember Kris Kristofferson doing it. I remember
C. W. McCall (pseudonym of Bill Fries) doing it in 1975... went to #1 on both country & pop charts in the U.S. It was written by C.W. McCall and Chip Davis.

I believe the movie was made, based on the popularity of the song.

"Joy Ride" was another great movie about truckers and CB radios and other deranged individuals. But it didn't have that song in it...
