Ride control module is unobtanium, has anybody used a vette F55 controller?

Like many other I have an XLR that had a flooded compartment in the rear and fried the modules. With no luck finding a replacement suspension control module I was wondering if anybody had tried hooking up the corvette F55 controller. It has all the same ports for the connectors and maybe just has a different "tune" for the corvette.

I managed to find a good controller, part# 10348979. So I will not have an answer for those wondering if the corvette controller will work. 2004-2005 use this very hard to find controller. Cost me $1000. I am going to take my shorted out unit to an electronics specialist and see if they can repair it for me so I have a spare.

Just curious, what happens to the ride when the ride control in INOP? Does it ride really hard or "stiff" or does it float down the road like a '59 sedan de ville with all 4 shocks totally worn out? lol :dunno:

My car had 2 problems, the module was fried and my rear leaf spring was almost cracked in half. My car was really "floaty" and felt like the rear was losing traction every time I hit a large bump.
