Have a 2006 XLR that I haven't driven for three weeks, and after starting, it will not shift into gear. In reviewing the threads, it may be the shift lock solenoid. Does anyone have its part number? 9498A161210V is stenciled on it, but when I Google that number nothing comes up. Thanks

I don't know if this is what you're looking for but, here is a solenoid number to check out, I'd also recommend checking the shifter cable there are 2 place it connects at the shifter and tranny they have small plastic grommets that dry out and break, yes you can get to one on the tranny too, it's on the passenger side from under the car, its a little tight in that area, but you can see it. Heres the selenoid part # info.

The yellow plastic piece is the piece, there are some on the forum that say you can get a replacement washer like it made of brass, which will last longer then the plastic one!
