Site Upgrade Coming

Just wanted to let everyone know that this coming week, I'm going to be working on moving the XLR Net to a better server. The server that we're on is shared with a bunch of other web sites at a hosting company and frankly, I'm not happy with the performance of the site.

In a nutshell, it's just not fast enough!

So, at some point, I'll need to shut the forums down, back up all of the databases and start the move. Before I do so, I'll send out a news bulletin to everyone letting them know that the move is going to take place.

Once we're back up and running again, I'll send out another bulletin letting everyone know we are in the Recovery Room.
