This is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time! Some guy is working on getting the V1 display to show on the HUD... he's already got a prototype working on the C6 vette...

I agree that the nav and hud are different.

If you keep reading, I was suggesting that maybe we can just swap HUDs with a Vette. I believe that may work since all the intelligence in display is probably actually in the HUD unit itself. There is not an issue with the XLR Nav since the the XLR doesn't display Nav info on the HUD anyways.

And once that swap is made, the V1 interface should work since all it does is use the Class2 bus to present data onto HUD.

I'm trying to track down a used C6 HUD to see if the swap works.
