Why do passenger-side XLR parts all cost more?

In looking at XLR parts the last couple of years, I've noticed that any type of part for the passenger side - whether electrical, suspension, headlamps, etc. - costs more than for the driver's side. This seems odd to me, although I haven't checked on parts for other cars so maybe it's that way for everything.

Does anyone happen to know a reason for this?

I do know that most of my accident avoidance moves for the XLR involve threats from the right . . . . maybe that's why, more crunches on that side :chuckle

My guess is supply and demand... dealers have more parts for left sides than right?? I've actually found that quite often in the collision repair business; some vehicles it's the opposite. Your guess is as good as mine...
