Wind Deflector

I really like my Wind Restrictor. It, along with the side windows, curtail the turbulence rather well at cruising speeds. However, there is still the definite effect of convertible driving. The WR provides the added effect of "cool" if equipped with illumination and a brake light module. HTH!

I am currently using the OEM Cadillac mesh windscreen and it works great. I also have the illuminated WR windscreen on my Chrysler Crossfire Roadster Limited and it also works great.

thanks... i liked the one that lights with the brakes... it that the one you have and was it hard to connect

Has anyone tried using a wind deflector and do they really work
Thanks

We have a WR ... I see NO difference in wind deflection ... maybe it does work well .... I just bought it because it looks so freaking awesome on at night :rocker: The mesh might work - but they're not at all attractive. It's all about the car, you know? :D

They are not very hard to install. If you get the lighted version, you then have to wire it behind the console, and trunk. If you have ever installed a stereo in a car, it will not be that hard.

I went with the Windrestrictor - lighted and the Brake Light module... Its awesome! It was quite easy to install - instructions are VERY good (and they have a good support via the phone as well.

Isn't it funny how we all see things, what is not attractive to some may seem to have a Classic, tastefull appearance to others, what is freaking awesome to some may be gaudy and cheap lookimg to others. I love my Original Equipement Windscreen, it does a great job of reducing airflow and to me adds a rich appearance to my XLR. It is well worth the $550 I paid for it.
