2004 Xenon Blue XLR
All LED's in the following photo's were purchased from v-leds.com.
I am extremely happy with the results and the quality of their products. I am including part numbers for what I bought and where they install in the car. They are all 6000k color bulbs to match our xenon headlights.
ALL PHOTO'S ARE TAKEN TODAY 5/21/2011, CAMERA HAD DEAD BATTERIES :)
194 wedge part # 194_4_HPF_W_6K
door panels-2 needed, footwells-2 needed, glovebox, front side markers-2 needed, license plate-2 needed---total bulbs-9 $20 per pair

194 wedge part# 194_4_RB_W_6K
parking lights(little bulb next to headlight)-2 needed
trunk lights-2 needed total-4 bulbs $20 per pair

194 wedge part# 194_X5_HP_W_6K $20 pair
maplights- 2 needed (original bulbs in this location are difficult to remove) I used shrink tubing and let it melt on the bulb, close door to let cool for a minute and then pull out bulb.

part# 9005_28_W_6K -- 13 watt, 28 LED foglight bulbs $60 pair
V_LED's doesn't have the correct festoon bulb for under the hood. I bought the correct size bulb from superbrightleds.com but, it installs 90 degrees off, it works, but not super bright in the right direction. the part # is RL4410-CWHP9 $10 shipped

hope this helps, a fairly expensive upgrade but, well worth it in my opinion, the car looks much more modern now like it should!

Can I ask what the bulbs, in total, cost you? You did mention that it was fairly expensive. Secondly, the photos are dated 2006 so am I correct to assume that you paid 2006 prices?

Looks great! I especially would like to replace the bulbs in the trunk and I liked your photo of the foot well on the drivers side. Good work!

Nice job. I would like to do that if I find the time. Fog & Interior lights especially.

How about the DRLs (amber ones that melt he headlight lenses)? Any sub for them. LEDs should run cooler.

I didn't change those bulbs because they are also the blinkers. When you change the resistance of the blinker system then you have to add resistors to the wiring harness to make them work properly again. Since my lenses are already melted, I didn't bother changing them. But, v-leds does carry them if you want to change them as well.

Are you using "can-bus" led's or regular led's?

they are canbus. you can see photos of the bulbs at the website.

Great pics!
Did you replace the rear licence plate and reverse light bulbs?
I started to take it all apart to swap mine out, but there's lots of wires and connections for the top that looked a bit delicate....would hate to break something back there. Wish those bulbs were easier to get to!

yah, I didn't bother with those yet, it looks like a pain. I really don't care about my license plate glowing and I see just fine with the existing reverse lights. I figured all the driving lights matching was more important.
