XLR Tail Light Issue/Situation

Hi guys,

We recently sold a used XLR taillight that we received. We tested the part out with a battery/direct power to it and the taillight lights up perfectly as it should. A customer is calling us now telling us that his mechanic is trying to install it and it is not working.

Trying to figure this situation out as we tested it and it worked but now this customer says its not. Any ideas/possibilities/history of XLRs doing this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure if the plug is the same on both sides, have them try the light on the other side of the car.
