ok...I see where the cigar lighter is....I see the small tray (opening) in front of and below that. How do you remove the ashtray to empty it?
Any help?

Hey now Cubby and I smoke in it. But newbie I can't tell you how to empty the ashtray I let Cubby empty it.
:D

It just pulls up and comes out for emptying. You do have to take the cigarette lighter out first. I don't use it, however. I took it out and have one that fits in one of the cupholders. How stupid is my thinking--you can smoke in my car, but not drink in it.:lol::lol:

(Most of the time the top is down.)

I'm pretty sure it's a California thing .... hardly anyone smokes anywhere ... not allowed anywhere .... no restaurant, bars, public building - most anywhere that you can smoke you have to be 20 feet away from any public entrance .... like I said - we have 2 local cities where smoking is not allowed even in public areas outside .... Del Mar and El Cajon .... Just different.

Also in Montana, FINALLY...
On October 1, 2009, Montana law states that smoking is not allowed in ANY public building, including bars and casinos (except on Indian Reservations). Most bars and casinos have it posted that smoking is not allowed within 6 feet of entrances. Sure is nice to go out and not have to smell your clothes while getting ready for bed... or not having to put our coats in the dryer with a dryer sheet to get the cigarette smell out of them.

And I'm sitting here (as a smoker, who flips the butts out the window) thinking to myself... there's an ashtray... Now I have to go out to the garage (detached and across the yard) to try and find the ashtray... IN THE RAIN...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I smoke some times in the XLR and when I do I have a large mouth plastic drink bottle witha little water in the bottom and use it as the astray, It keep the car clean and when you get out just throw the bottle away

I smoke in both of my cars but I do not smoke in my home. Back when we could, I always preferred to sit on a plane next to a smoker rather than a sloppy drinker that should have been shut off after their first drink. The same on the road, would rather meet an approaching vehicle with a smoker rather than a drinker. :):):)

Butt Disposal

I smoke a non filter cigarette which is 100% biodegradable... no cotton swabs on the highway for me... But thanks for keeping me honest.

Out here, butts out the window equal FIRE! It's a huge no-no. It's a VERY expensive ticket to pay .... that pretty much squelchs the desire to flick ...:squint:
