Remembering those whos gave their life for my freedom, and those who are serving today to preserve the future ..... :patriot:

No matter how you spend your weekend, 'hope it's a good one!

RA, I echo your sentiments as well. No matter what you all do this holiday weekend, please pause a moment to say a prayer for our men and women serving to protect our freedom and those that have served our great nation.

Please say a special prayer for the families of our fallen soldiers, who made the ultimate sacrafice, so we all may enjoy what we have today. :patriot::patriot::patriot:

And please fly the flag on Monday, to help others remember as well!

Couldn't have said it better myself, so I'm not even going to try... DITTO, DITTO, DITTO.

My little cousin married a Marine over the weekend and they had the wedding at Ft. Knox with her husband in his dress blues. He will be leaving soon for Afghanistan and the pastor worked in a lot about Memorial Day and our troops. It was a great way to spend part of our Memorial Day weekend!! :patriot:

Nothing like a man in a uniform ;) When I married Ray, 45 years ago, he wore his Dress uniform ..... He was in Basic Training at Fort Ord in CA .... when he was done, he went in to law enforcement and has worn a uniform for the last 44 .... still ....
