This is my first convertible today here in Chicago nice 65 and parades everywhere. Washed her up, put the top down and man let me tell yah. Totally different car I tested it at the dealer but didn't get to drive her around topless. It just reinforced that I made a great decision and am looking forward to many great years ahead of us.

It's really like owning 2 great cars!

As you have discovered, the character of the XLR is very different with the top down!

For me personally, I tend to drive slower with the top down, and just take time to "smell the roses".

With the top up, it becomes a very competent sports coupe. I have a tendency to drive her a little harder in this mode.

A real bargain for 2 somewhat different cars!

Drive to Hot Doug's for duck-fat fries and a Foie Gras Dog!! Then the whole line can see your ride!!
