Help! 2005 radio antenna

Out of the blue our 05 quit pulling in radio stations. Took to dealership and they said its a antenna ground issue. After consulting with tech I said forget it as they would just have to guess where issue is and would have to tear apart many things to try and find the problem. Very labor intensive they said. Anybody else had this happen?

The only thing I can tell you is the FM radio antenna wire to the radio is underneath the cover in the trunk lid you have to remove the cover on the underside of the trunk lid.... when you drop the felt cover down the cable antenna runs across the trunk lid for the FM on our 2005's
